It had been one week since I left the childcare centre. Wonder how the kids there had been… Will those little children realize their “Teacher Liyin”, “Teacher Li” is missing? Looking at the photos I took at the centre. Only 4 months there and I took 468 photos!!

I am really very grateful to all the staff there, the principal, the teachers and the aunties.

Thanks for all the things they had taught me. I indeed learn a lot of things there, taking care of children, taking care of babies, handling parents. This job is really a very good learning experience for me.

These 4 months had indeed been one of the most tiring 4 months in my life. Everyday screaming, shouting or scolding the naughty children for 9 full hours. Or busy feeding the babies and carrying the babies. Other than taking care and teaching the children, there is also administrative stuff to do, “Port folio, Lesson overview, Progress report”. Some parents are already having trouble looking after 1 or 2 children at home, but the childcare teachers had to look after 10, 20 over children. On top of that, we sometimes even encounter nasty and troublesome parents. Really salute to all the childcare teachers at my centre. Especially those perm staff.

But no matter how tiring this job may be, I still enjoy my 4 months there. The friendly teachers, the helpful aunties and the wonderful principals. Not forgetting the sweet adorable children. Thank you for all the joy and laughter they had brought me. I will definitely miss them all. I seriously miss conducting assembly for the children where we sing the National anthem, say our pledge, singing songs, dancing hi-5 together! I will be back to visit them, hope they still remember me… Haha.

Teacher’s Day is coming soon… I hereby wish all teachers… HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY!!!
